Special Ocean Perch Natural Bait System with Circle Hook

Special leader for catching big and very tasty ocean perch. The hooks are baited with small bits of coalfish or herring. A heavy lead is hung onto the end. The entire assembly is then lowered to the bottom and can be gradually brought up in sections, since the ocean perch are often to be found at a medium depth and not at the bottom. If you sense a bite, leave the leader at the depth where the ocean perch is lurking, because that is where the rest of the swarm is to be found. Big ocean perch usually hang around at the edge of steep ridges. Never strike with circle hooks, simply exercise a light pull, the hook rotates itself into the fish mouth and remains securely fixed. Sinker is not included.
