The folding joint is made of an incredibly strong combination of aluminum and zinc; under normal conditions it is indestructible. The landing net heads and poles are made of Y-12 aluminum and anyone with any knowledge of metals knows that Y-12 is significantly stronger than conventional aluminum. Even the knob for adjusting the length of the net pole is made of aluminum (if and not – as is customary – of plastic. The rot resistant net is made of long-life nylon and is odor-repellent.
