Bite Indicator System

The revolutionary bite indicator system designed by member of BALZER freshwater team Lutz Hulbe; it can be fixed on in a matter of seconds, transforming any kind of rod into a bottom rode with an integrated bite indicator. Of course, the system can also be dismantled equally fast. It is also an ideal complement to your feeder rod, particularly when fishing in a small space, during wind and current as well as for night-time fishing.

There are two different systems sets:
- For fishing with a closed reel bail Item # 11972/000 (Picture A)
- For fishing with an open reel bail Item # 11973/000 (Picture B)

This is how it works:
1. Attaching the adapter
Position the adapter on the rod blank and fix it on using the rubber band. Pay attention that the mounting for the guides is located on the left-hand side.

2. Fixing the side tips
Depending on the situation you can select between 3 side tips of varying degrees of hardness. Simply push the desired tip into the adapter. The tips can be exchanged at any time during fishing without the line having to be clipped.

3. Fishing techniques
3. 1. System for a closed reel bail
Cast the bait, tighten the line and hang it in the eye on the tip. Even the finest bite is indicated. The line is immediately released from the eyelet when the strike takes place.
3.2. System for an open reel bail
Cast the bait, tighten the line and stick it into the slot in the rubber band. Then open the reel bail. If the fish takes the bait, the bite is signalized by the tip when the fish pulls the line out of the slot. The tips are no hindrance to casting and play.
